Buddy programme
In a buddy programme international students meet up with local students and as such feel welcome in their new environment. A programme of this caliber offers an excellent chance for both the buddy and the new entrant to learn about each other’s cultures and customs. They also have a chance to get a grip on one another’s languages and learn new terminology.
The international student, paired up with a local student, engages in local culture and language, while the local student learns about the culture of the international student. Joining this programme, the students make new friends and it helps the students to settle down in a new location and culture.
