Race equality toolkits

The two toolkits below are examples of how Higher Education staff can consider issues of equality and reflect on ways in which race equality can be mainstreamed into learning and teaching.

The Toolkit does not provide a blueprint for how race equality should be addressed in learning and teaching but it encourages the academic staff to self-evaluate, and to review the curriculum and their teaching and assessment methods, in order to create as inclusive a learning environment as possible.

The Race Equaliy Toolkit of Universities Scotland has been developed to enhance the learning experiences of an increasingly diverse, multicultural student population.

Race egual kit UCL

UCL Advancing Race Equality Toolkit includes guidance, briefings and case studies for advancing equality at departmental and faculty level.
